My guess is the bike had about 20K miles. No way to really tell, the dash is showing 1600 miles. It came from a different bike.

Well, bike is almost ready. Still need a right side fairing plastic, new tires, latch for the bag…. and a few scuffed bits will be replaced later as miles roll on. Not the final pics, but it's running great and is almost done.

Fisheye lens is making pics look funny, and I am too lazy to change it to a regular one ))

The 1 gen looks a little larger than 2 gen, plus without the bags makes it look even bigger, plus the camera angle.  It is the perfect storm :)

Great thread! I only just read it all this morning.

I've rebuilt quite a few crashed bikes, so I find this one quite interesting. You can make good money on them...as long as you don't consider your labor in $$$...lol.

Good stuff. I'm subscribed;).

Once you factor in your time, and your friends time it's not about making money. We just do it for the fun of it…

Well, a trip to Europe right now is on hold. My now ex-girlfriend changed her mind about a few things. So, my next trip will be picking up my Ural 650 from never-to-be-in-laws garage and getting it back to Atlanta. After that some sort of trip on the Connie.

I will post up more pics and any trip details after she is done.
