I should mention that I didn't take any pictures before I altered them.  The dog decided to eat the camera.

Thanks for the photos. I hope your dog is okay ... from both the camera and the punishment for eating the camera.

I hope ProjectkD and MCL know of the 2010 20101 changes that make their rear pegs not plug and play

The top picture is the MCL lowering links on a 2008-2009, the rest of the pictures are on my 2011.  You can see that there is much more clearance on the early years whereas the newer has less room because of the muffler extension.  I had to file down the corner of the bracket so that it would fit on the bike and file it some more so that when weight from the passenger is applied to it that it doesn't come in contact with the muffler.  I also had to pin the bracket  on each side so that it didn't vibrate and move around.  No matter how much I tightened it, it wouldn't get tight enough to not move around so I drilled a small hole and tapped it.  Most people wouldn't even notice.

Would losing that massive potato launcher help with the clearance DP??

ZG - Spending $500 to fix something I can fix with a metal file seems a bit overkill but your right, I would love to replace that thing but no money right now.  My companies policy is that "if you want a raise, get another job."  Guess its time to start looking.
