Presenting Duke's succesor, Duchess!
« on: August 11, 2013, 11:44:35 AM »
Drove down to Buckeye Az last nite to pick up a 2 year old toy fox terrier. She hopefully will make a good rider, these guys were breed to ride in a saddlebag on a horse on hunting trips. Got her from a non-profit rescue org, she was to be executed 5 days ago, so now she's gonna be ride'n an FJR instead!

Outstanding, sir!  Another innocent life saved.  I'm sure we all look forward to seeing her travel portfolio. Ride far, ride safe.

AWESOME!!!!! I have 5 dogs......four were rescues. Two Chihuahua's a GIANT white Lab, and a Weimeraner were all rescued. The Weimer was in the worst shape, and she is my baby!!!!. In her pic she is with her baby, but all have been spayed and or neutered now. I love dog adoption, and rescue stories.

Took her on her first FJR ride! Up to the local mtn lodge for lunch (40 miles total) She did GREAT!  And being smaller than duke she's able to duck down into the bag and lay on the cushion when she's had enough, poor duke couldn't do that but he was a trooper still!

Do you have her tied in?
That is one big wind screen for her , how did you mount it?

If I tired this with any of my three small dogs they would have a heart attack!

:rotflmao:  Duke (rip)  may hold the record as one of the fastest dogs on the planet as he went 130mph once, don't think duchess wants to break that one!
