What header pipe nuts to use??

I'm gonna to be putting a zx 14 header pipe on my 12 C14 and I have read that the OEM nuts sometimes come loose and was looking for info on better nuts to use or a solution to fix that while I have it apart.

and where is the best location to put a bung on  the system for later use with auto tune, I'm thinking the collector, left side? right side? and what size nut?

Ordered some myself
My Area P came with the Bung in the collector, so I assume that is the ideal place. Not sure of the size, but the autotune website should have that.

Isn't that the truth, the more miles I put on the bike the worse it gets, but it is fun making it you own and dialing it in. This is an awesome bike.

Can these nuts be torqued correctly (13ft-lbs)?  I would think that the nylon would affect the torque value.  Also, I'm wondering if I should replace the gaskets as well?

Jim, fuji-lock has no nylon. The final thread, for lack of a better description sort of cam locks the nut with no damage to the bolt threads. The gaskets are crush washers and need to be replaced.

Thanks, Gary.  I don't know why I was thinking there was nylon in it.  But the question remains, can these fasteners be torqued correctly based on their locking ability?

For those that are thinking about replacing the gaskets as well...part number is 11061-0027 (you need 4).  I would think that the gasket number pertains to all our bikes, including the slower ones.  However, you should check to make sure before you order them, though.
