How do we pronounce the letter Z?
Similar to the way you guys do, but the letter's NAME is Zed.
Y'all don't call a Beer a Beeeer,...... actually ya do! <LOL>
Better example, ya don't call a Phone a Peehone do ya? The letters name is Pee.

So for us it's a zebra (short e) where y'all say zeebra (long e).
We do say zoo and zulu and zig and zygote.

Jim, it doesn't matter if you close this down or not, as the NSA will have a copy and will add everyone names to the "people who have more time than sense" list.  :rotflmao:

Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.

I reckon so.  That was a British/Italian detective show that was really good.  Only three episodes from what I remember.   Now if you want to talk Zed (Z) cars, I'd love to get my hands on that series.

That's not what I was implying at all, Boomer.   I was born in England, so anything British on the forum tends to perk my interest....and not in a bad way.

Now if you want to talk Zed (Z) cars, I'd love to get my hands on that series.
Your wish is my command.
http://www.acornmediauk.com/z-cars-collection-one.html
You will need a DVD player that can handle Region 2 DVD's and play PAL video.

There are a lot of episodes that are missing from the BBC archives but they keep finding new ones as they go through the archives.
Acorn Media will be release more series if demand for this one is high enough.
The whole series was 799 episodes from '62 to '78.
