I would do that before buying their normal seat if you are close enough. I wish I would have been able. Their seat is for someone carrying a little more weight in their rear than me. The seat sits too far back for me and there is too much of a hump up front for me, although after about 5,000 miles it is a little better in the hump area. It is always better to have something like a seat custom tailored if you can. I say go for it. Their workmanship is very good.
