Seat mounting brackets
« on: May 14, 2013, 02:36:34 PM »
I have gone through the fiche on Ron Aryes site, and I take it that you can’t  buy the brackets on the bottom of the seat. If any one can correct me, please do so. The latch bracket on the rear of the bike’s seat apparently has been loose, or out of adjustment for some time now and has a groove worn into in, so the latch no longer catches. I have taken all three brackets to a local machine shop, and will be having a replacement latch made, along with one other complete set to use on an aftermarket seat I recently purchased. If anybody is interested in a set of brackets let me know. The first run is always the most expensive, more will cut down the price. I will know more tomorrow in regards to how much things will be.

The only way to get replacement hardware like that is to either buy a used seat or fabricate your own.
