exhaust and headset

I am awaiting shipment of my 08 connie and have 2 questions. 1) I will probably go with a power commander and was wanting some feedback on a slip on exhaust where I can get the most bang for the buck and
2) i have an HJC helmet that already has the cutaway for the Chatterbox system. Any suggestions would and I would be eternally in your debt. Maybe even spring for a cold one if you are up my way.

  I have no experience with tuning the Connie but after chasing my tail with add on controllers on other bikes I will not do it again.  We have an ECM that can be reprogrammed, that is the best way without exception of tuning a bike. Guhl reflash is your best bet with or without a muffler.

"Muffler" not "exhaust".  You need to define what you mean by "bang".  Noise?  Poser potential?  If you are looking for *performance*, then you will need to replace a lot more than just the muffler.

You should also consider the Ghul ECU reflash if you don't plan to replace the EXHAUST.  It is probably about the same cost or less, but has several other advantages.  Search the forum for the many threads...

The Delkavic exhaust ( ) will give the best "Bang for the buck", no real performance gain other than weight loss and appearance, which in most minds is a win win.  If you are doing nothing else a fuel controller isnt needed.  Some have even pulled the flies w/o a controller as she already runs rich.
As to coms?  I tried several wireless types, ended up with the Autocom ProV1, aint looking back and as a mater of fact, I am getting the Starcom Digital for my GS.  Charging, syncing, powering up, just not near as convenient and on longer trips??

Love my Leo Vince SBK slip on with Guhl re-flash. The re-flash definitely gave me some low end boost. The slip on did not do anything for power but way lighter, way better sound and better looking than the bazooka. Not sure how the Leo Vince stacks up to the Delkavic. I got the Leo Vince used on this forum. If I were paying new price I would definitely consider the Delkavic as it is about half the price of the Leo Vince.

I also love my Sena SMH-10 for the head set. Excellent bike to bike intercom plus works well for streaming music from my Android smart phone. The jog dial makes it easy to use even with gloves on.

I love my Vance & Hines CSOne Black.....had it on the bike before the Delkavic was out or before everyone was talking about it on the board.  It also looks nice and less expensive as well.  Haven't don't the Guhl reflash yet on our 2010, but plan on it.  It's a personal choice but no matter what you choose, I am sure you will be happy with it.  Good luck.
