What is the difference in the ECO Icons?                                                                                           C
I see the rectangular one that I can turn on and off, but there is another one that is triangular:  E   O
That one seems to stay on all the time.
(yes- RTFM, but I am at work and this is perplexing me :o)

I believe the triangular ECO letters illuminate when you are riding in a responsible manner - there is no on/off switch or control, other than your right hand.

Triangular like below is just optimum fuel flow, in other words, your using less then half throttle. You can easily see the difference by giving some throttle, it will go away, then backing off it will turn on again.

  E
C  O

The other is lit when you are using the economy fuel map by holding the multifunction switch down for about 3 sec. Looks like this but letters are white on a small black rectangle:
ECO

LOL

I never thought of it as "responsible" as much as "economical", myself.
