Parking tag - where to mount & how?
« on: April 14, 2013, 01:59:12 PM »
Anyone here have to deal with mounting a parking tag to their Connie?  In the past, I've just grabbed it out of my pocket and showed it to the guard.  Now, though, they've gotten more strict, insisting it has to be affixed to the vehicle, preferably the windshield.  Sticking a big ugly tag on the windshield of this beautiful machine is absolutely not an option to me.
So guys, what do you suggest?  Anyone out there come up with a solution that is non-permanent and doesn't deface this beautiful bike?

I placed my base decals on the left fairing boot, makes it easy for the gate guards to see.  On the GS I put them on the left fork.

One member has a great looking piece of plexi glass cut in an oval, it is then mounted to the side fairing bolts above KAWASAKI.  Looks great.
