You're on the right track brutha! Something in between these 2 colors is what I'm thinking, like the color of the exposed frame or plastic lower and center tank storage box.
digital cammo?
No smart ass... I don't want a gloss finish, I want a matte finish and slightly lighter black, like the exposed frame color.
OK,I was joking. But Good Job. Should be able to sell a lot of them down here in the land of four wheelers and bass boats.
Jay ... the frame may look like one color when you're looking at the original pic, but it's really many different shades of gray ... Here are some tries at it:
Yep, these are both very close to what I'm thinking, even down to the darker black gloss badges! Now if you can get the wheels to be the same color gold as the Ohlins forks then you'll have the sneak preview of what I'm leaning towards for my next project!
::)At last, a bike that matches your personality
?
The wheels are gonna take some serious finaglin' ... The problem is because they're black now. In order to do these color changes well, the original pic has to have varying shadows; the black wheels you have are mostly just pure black in the pics. I'll see if I can find some silver wheels to work off of.
Conniesaki, try grabbing one of the earlier pics from Jays progression thread, when his bike still had silver wheels. That may give you the contrast you need for the software to identify the lines.
Jay ... Do you have a pic of the same side view as the one I've been using, but with your silver wheels? (so I don't "get" to look back thru a zillion pages! )That's what I need to try some wheeling colorin',
