These Adapters are used WITH your current standard risers.  These can be used with standard risers 1 inch and larger.  The Adapters are bolted on top of your standard risers by passing 3 bolts through the adapters, then through your standard risers then screw into the factory holes in the triple clamp.  Then the factory handlebars are bolted to the adapters in their new, closer position to the rider.

-Handlebar pullback / offset: 1 inch + the pullback from your risers
-Handlebar lift: 1/2 inch + the lift from your risers

*Application: 2010-2013 Kawasaki Concours 14. These will not work on 2008-2009 due to the location of the storage compartment.

If you want the benefits of the Pullback Risers offered by Advanced Sport Touring, but you've already invested in a standard set of risers, this is what you need. These bolt to the top of anyone's standard set of risers and move the handlebars back towards the rider 1 inch. Must be used with risers 1 inch and larger.

No cutting, welding, drilling or adding of clutch or brake cables.

** A couple of the pics were done without powder coating to show the Riser Adapters more definitively.

Made exactly these myself about 3 years ago. They worked well.

BTW: cost me WAY more than $65 to make them myself. This is a great deal!

Thanks for the post Rhino.  It took me several months to find a place that would produce these for the price I wanted.

I have instructions posted on my website detailing the install and I'll have a video of the installation from start to finish done around the end of next week.

Looks good.  Are the longer bolts included?

Yes

***Standard Risers are NOT included.  You need to provide them or purchase a set of Standard Risers from Advanced Sport Touring.  This listing is for a set of Riser Adapters and hardware only.

**Don't forget to select what size risers these will be used with. This selection determines what size bolts you will receive.

You shouldn't need any extra bolts. The long bolts that come with the 2" risers are used to bolt these and the risers to the triple tree. The original antler bolts are then used to bolt the antlers to the pull back adapters.

Everything you need is included in the kit.  You get the adapters, bolts (size depends on the riser size you're using) and I replace the stock "antler" bolts with shorter ones.

I'll test out the combination with the wedges and let you guys know.

I went ahead and ordered these today.

I saw this thread right after I took my bars, wedges, and the handlebar handy stick  to the painter today to get powder coated. I had to call and tell him to hold off because I ordered more parts that need to be painted.  :P

Hope to hear good news about the your test with the wedges.

I have an 09 Red Connie, that I would like to get the handle bars back closer to me. Can these Riser Adapter be installed on an 09  and still get the tank cover to open a little. I only keep my papers in the tank compartment. I already have 2" rises on the bike.
Thanks :feedback:

Hello Toaster,
The problem isn't that it won't allow you to open the tank compartment, its that with these installed, they run into the tank compartment and only allow you to turn the steering halfway to lockout.  That's not safe.  The 2010-2013 models don't have this problem due to the way the plastic cover was designed on those models.  I ran out of my 2 inch risers so I can't attach a photo but I'll get one up later in the week.

What some people have done is remove the tank compartment and installed one from the 2010-2013 models.  Its not a direct bolt-on but with a couple hand made brackets, its good as new.  Wish I could do more for you but that tank compartment really limits options.

LOL.  I was waiting for someone to bring that up.  The pictures I have up are the pre-production pics.  I'm waiting on the first production quality set to arrive before I take pics and officially show them to the world.  The black finish is going to be slightly different, more of a matte finish where it'll basically blend in with the bottom half of the bike.  The plan is to have them on the shelf, ready-to-ship by the end of the month.

If you guys start sending me more money, I can get these things to the shelf quicker.   ;D

Just got my riser adapters and I ran'm over to the painter to get powder coated with the rest of the pieces. Hopefully I have them back and on the bike tomorrow, pictures to follow. I guess I get to be the guinea pig for trying out the adapters with Phil's wedges, I am crossing my fingers.

Thanks Ryan.....

Someone beat you to it.  Paul in Bakersfield put up a review the other day saying it works.  The lines are a little tight but it works without worry.  I sent him an email requesting pictures.  http://www.advancedsporttouring.com/product_p/c14-16.htm  Its at the bottom of the page.
