Power Outlet Installation Videos
« on: December 17, 2012, 10:42:52 AM »
I took some time and put together some installation videos on how to install a Powerlet outlet into the dash of the C14.  These are no Hollywood feature presentations but they're step-by-step, beginning to end and should help anyone install one whether its with my system or someone else's.

This first video is an "Ignition Activated" setup where the outlet turns on when you turn on the bike and shuts off when you shut off the bike.  Its very important to note that because of the way the power is split on the bike's fuse, you should ONLY run low power items like a GPS, Sat Radio, radar detector, ect....  No heated gear, air compressors, ect...  http://www.advancedsporttouring.com/Concours_14_Power_Outlet_p/c14-pkt-046-12.htm

The second video is for an "Always On" outlet that's connected directly to the battery.  With this system, run anything you want.  Works great for heated gear or charging your bikes battery.  http://www.advancedsporttouring.com/Concours_14_Power_Outlet_p/c14-pkt-046-12.htm

If you think something important was missed that should be added to the video, let me know.

I have a bunch of other videos available at: http://www.advancedsporttouring.com/category_s/1864.htm

My parts are forged with voodoo curses and unicorn tears.

Great video!  Seeing how this is done, now I have the courage to try this on my bike. More importantly not have to pay someone to do it for me
