homemade fender eliminator and license LED
« on: November 26, 2012, 09:08:26 PM »
I had a stroke of thought today and not having felt this lucky in awhile, I jumped on it and even took pictures!
I agonized on how to get rid of that ugly fender thingy hanging down in back and after rummaging around my garage, I hit on an idea. I had a roll of coil strap that I could bolt in to replace the license bracket. I took the license bracket from the fender, bolted this frankensteinian coil strap to it. I picked up a $15.00 LED light strip from PEP BOYS and wired it to the license wire plug and glued it on. I added a skidmarx hugger that came with the bike and it looks way cool. Unfortunately, I can only get four pictures at a time on this post.  >:( wish I could get more...

Oh, I have made plenty of mods- thousands of dollars.... you know that.  New seat & heated, storage pod, driving lamp conversion, HID lights, battery charger, canyon cages, bag bars, Ronnie's highway pegs, Helibar risers, Phil's wedges, Admore brake/turn light, mega air horn, dual helmet locks, adjustable aluminum kickstand, GPS, Muzzy lowering links, brake lever mods, luggage retaining brackets, Powerlet on steering head, vest controller, city light conversion.

I am sure I missed something
