Here's a weird way to have your bike catch fire...
« on: October 19, 2012, 05:21:46 PM »

So I guess when I rolled up into the driveway the other night I ran this over and it flipped up and wedged itself between the header pipes. This is that coupon paper they throw in my driveway every week that I have been trying for three years to stop.  Lucky thing I have a good sense of smell...

This is that coupon paper they throw in my driveway every week that I have been trying for three years to stop.

I can't STAND those things.  I consider it illegal littering and perhaps trespass.  Good luck stopping it- they are hand delivered and not addressed.

You were lucky, although it was probably not enough paper to have caught anything on the bike on fire (I guess).

It's all good.  I now have an email from the Daily Press confirming that they are not to deliver it anymore.  If I slip on the plastic bag they come in when it rains and hurt my back... Larry H. Parker got me, $2.1 million!

The new thing in my neighborhood is to put the flyer in a bag with gravel in it.
I like your idea of contacting the coliciting company! Boy, I'd hate to hit some gravel turning into my driveway!  ;)
