Driving home the other day in my car, I saw a guy pulling out of one of the local grocery stores on his bike (sport bike). He had a full grocery bags OVER HIS WRISTS!!

In other words, he had put his wrists through the loops of the grocery bags, and, with the bags hanging off his wrists, and swinging around freely, grabbed the controls and rode off.

better than some dimwit ridin' down the road talkin' on the cell phone! Yep, my wife & I witnessed this last summer on a busy 5-lane street near the house. He was on a sport bike, had his full-faced helmet wedged up so the chin bar was even w/ his forehead, shorts & tank-top too, just yakkin' away

You wouldn't believe what I've seen here in India. 4 men on a bike (3 on a bike is VERY common). A scooter with about 10 plastic car bumpers strapped on. A full mattress between the rider and a passenger just to name a few.

I've done this from the store to work which is less than a block. But I don't sport my bags daily. I'm not sure why its so much of an issue if the bags aren't really heavy its not that much of a drag and I can control just fine.

I gotta admit, I have done it many times over the past 46 years of riding. But never with heavy bags.

I've done this on my bicycle but I wouldn't dream of doing on my motorcycle. Sorry, that's just stupid.

Guess I'm stupid.... I've done it. But now that I have bags, I don't...I put it in a bag. Even if it's just a couple blocks.
