PC map database
« on: September 25, 2012, 06:31:36 PM »
I've been looking for an '08, ZX dual slip-on, flies-out map and thought it was strange that there didn't already exist a database here of maps for a bike well into its 2nd generation.  I know of Fuelmoto's maps and that they charge little to nothing for a map, but I was thinking more along the lines of changes owners/autotune has made to the various configs.  So, is there any interest in compiling a database of user's maps - tweaked or otherwise?  It could be hosted a la Dropbox or other storage service and linked from the wiki section here.

If it's a waste of time, then anybody want to send me a good map for the above specs?

I think it's a great idea. My set-up is probably pretty common - flies out, Two Brothers carbon fiber slip-on, PCV - but the mechanic who did the work could only find a somewhat similar map online and it's not ideal. There is a slight hesitation at the low RPM's when accelerating in any gear. I suspect this can be fixed with the right map.

Send me a PM with your email address and I will make sure that you have a decent map that should work well for your setup.
