It also depends on who you make the offer to. It's been there 7 months. That's long enough to prove it's gonna be a loser to the owner of the place. When I see a bike sit for over 6 months, I go directly to the owner and offer what I think it's worth. Since he is not paying any commissions to salespeople, he can go down and dirty, just to get it off the floor. I'd offer 6500 and see if he counters with 7000. If he comes back with 7500 either be ready to take it or try again, for 7200. It's always easier to deal with the owner, if he will talk to you, because they usually will immediately give you an answer, unlike salesperson who has to go negotiate with the owner before you get an answer. Now some folks like to make the salespeople like them. But you can pay full retail and the salesguy is gone a month later, what did you do? You bought respect memories. Good luck!
