My stepson made one of those many years ago. Used Right Guard as a propellant. His was a little larger diameter, but shorter ignition chamber. (More conceal carry, lol.) Barrel was about the same size.

It would launch a potato across a school yard, over the school, and across the school yard on the other side.  :o

I have one just like that I'd sell for 49 bucks. My research has show Off Bug Spray to be the propellent of choice, yea the stuff you spray on your skin.
