Front caliper piston diameters?
« on: August 26, 2012, 06:33:00 PM »
Does anybody know the piston diameters of the stock 2 piston 94+ front calipers?

I'm wondering how much more/less piston area the Tokico 4-pots I'm installing have, they have 30mm pistons.

Thanks

For anyone interested, the 94+ piston diameters are 34mm and 27mm so the early style (94 ZX-6) 4-pot Tokico have 95% of the piston area of the 2-pot.  I'm hoping the 4-pots are stiffer than the stockers and will eliminate the sponginess and long travel at the lever.

Order the  S.S. 2 line  system from Murph's. That is the only thing that will fix that issue.
