I did it!!

Well boys, I'm officially part of the club!!! Yesterday I finally got off my butt and bought me a new 2012 C14. I feel like I got a really good deal. Base price was $12,800 and after tax (10%), title, reg, and dealer charges I walked out with it being $14,800 out the door. Originally they wanted $19,100 OTD, so I beat them up really bad until I got the price I wanted. I bought this bike site unseen and never did a test ride. First ride home and I'm in love!! This bike is so smooth! Oh, and I got the black one. First order of business is to throw some wax on it and then go for a ride. I'll get some pics today and post them up for you guys. Let the farkling began! Damn it!!  ;D

Big CONGRATS!! Way to hand it to the dealer also! Use some of the price difference money on some farkles. A lot of good info on the forum. I lose sleep scanning the forum because I don't want to waste any day light on the iPad when I could be out riding.

Thanks guys. I just got back from my first 200 mile ride. Ok, first thing first, I need bar risers, highway pegs, and a seat with a cut out for my balls! Than I think I will be set. My knees, wrist, and neck were killing me by the time I was done. As far as my balls go, I don't think they make a cut out for them, so I'm hoping with the farkles I mentioned will put me in a more upright riding position and take pressure off the boys. Ok Ok, enough of my whinning...I love this bike!! As soon as I get it set up right I should be set for a long haul ride. One other thing, this bike is so quite that it's very hard to keep in under 4000 RPM for the break-in period; I can't hear the engine and know by ear that I'm revving to high. I took a few pics on my first ride. I will post them up soon. I LOVE THIS BIKE!!!  :) :) :)

Try Murphs for your bar risers.  You might want to consider getting his lower pegs too.  Helped my knees and my butt too.  If you can get the weight spread out on your thighs more, it's less presure on your balls.
