Factors:
height of windshield, flat / hilly road, head wind, tire pressure, pc3 programing, stock handle bar height or 2" risers, trunk, weight of luggage, riding style. and so forth.  So considering these and more how do you compare one rider to the other??
Bought my 08 in Oct. with 28k.  My best MPG has been 48. Mostly highway.  PC3 tuned for performance, pr3's, Area p header and can.  Daily rider in town best is 38-39.

Just got home from a trip where I was averaging 70mph with some sections much higher and lower. Averaged 52 Imp MPG.

How do you guys get the kind of tire wear I see posted? I am getting ready to try a set of PR3s.

Put the 3's on. I went to the 3's after getting at tad over 15k on the 2's. I must admit the 2's were used up. I liked the 2's so now we'll see how I like the 3's. My 14 behaved well on curvy mountain roads with the 2's. I have yet to wring out the 3's but new tennis shoes on a bike are always nice.

I don't always ride a street bike. But when I do, it's a Concours. Ride safely my friend.
