Jim, anyone who has pulled all the stuff of the bike it takes to get the valve covers off knows that is a heck of a price.  Your dealer is taking good care of you!
Jim also promised not to lock any of the service managers threads on this forum!  :yikes:

Another valve thread!!!!!!

I charge flat fee of $500 for shim work, thats bike being dropped off and done and customer rides away.
Includes, Oil, oil filter, (customer pays extra for spark plugs/air filter)
And shims checked and/or replaced within spec and new valve cover gasket.
Dont take my LOW post count as being a new Connie owner, I have been with the "other site" before it imploded........

Not a bad price at all....little far away for us to ride, though, and there is that big stretch of water we'd have to cross.
