back off xp brake light signal module

Does anybody know if this can be installed on a c-14?  Manufacturer and dealerships are no help.  I installed it in the brake pedal wire to 10 amp fuse of tail light.  The tail light and brake light flash and go through the flashes continually.  How do I get the brake light alone to flash?

Which model do you have?  SD-XXXX

What directions came with it?

I think that a diode has to be installed in the circuit someplace.
