Highway pegs

I just rummaged through my C10 spare parts and found a set of passenger pegs and installed them on my C14.  The wife complained about how small C14 pegs were.

Been reading horror stories about that motor mount bolt you need to remove to mount the cages or the ast pegs. Does it need to be removed to mount Ronnies pegs? Anybody have an opinion on the Bucks touring pegs? Can you put your full weight on them?

No.   It mounts only to the break/shift/peg area.  The right one is a snap.  The left one takes a bit longer, since you have to disassemble then reassemble the shifter.  I still consider the installation rather easy.

Not exactly related, but
My wife is wanting rubberized pegs to replace the metal passenger pegs.
Will the stock rider pegs fit in the passenger position?
If so, does anyone have a stock set (of rider pegs) that they will sell me?

I will be mounting mine on the extensions like in the photo.
So, I think I like the C-14 pegs best.

Really like the AST ones. But have seen so much negative about his business that scared to order from. Still he don't answer email or phone so red flags are up. Hope things are ok for him

Like I said above about being burned by this guy twice. Yes, I give second chances. It's also not just me.
Being a small community of Connie lovers I propose ordering from him via PayPal so you can get your money back if things go wrong. It is a pain to wait and wait and then file a complaint and then wait and wait for a refund. But this mystery vendor does ship some stuff to some people sometimes! I've heard of it happening(lol). I would not pay him over the phone -

My passenger would like to know why she rode thousands of miles on back without lowering pegs and a backrest we waited for and waited for. Thanks again to Motorcycle Larry and Premier Cycle Accessories for getting those things to me within days of receiving my refund from AST via PayPal. I almost made my own pass lowering brackets and saved $$ piecing together my own highway pegs:-) Also extremely pleased with the PCA rack and backrest. Also that I received a call from PCA notifying me of a slight delay in my order. It was so slight they didn't even have to call.

I just installed a set of Advanced Sport Touring highway pegs on my 2008 C14. I have long had an issue on long rides where my legs would get numb. I tried different seats and have had my Corbin seat modified several times in an effort to alleviate the problem. Well, I took a 140 mile ride today after installing the highway pegs and what a difference! I now have room to stretch my legs out on long trips and this has almost totally removed the discomfort of long rides that I was experiencing. They are not difficult to install and the workmanship on them is excellent! I am quite pleased with them.
On another note, I have 8400 miles on my PR 4 GT's that I installed last May. The front still has roughly 1000 miles left in it but the rear is at the wear bars in the center. This is by far the most mileage I have gotten out of any tires that I've purchased for my bike, and I've had her for 8 years and have purchased many tires over that span of time. The second best ironically was the first set of PR 2's that I installed. I got 7000 miles out of those.  I'm am very impressed with the performance, wet and dry, of these tires and the longevity. Even with the wear, they still handle almost like they did when new.

Hmm, interesting.  More stretch than Ronnie's, but a lot uglier and more in-your-face.
