Truck oil no thanks.

As good or better than almost any other offering out there, keep drinking whatever Kool-Aid you are enjoying.  ;)   More truck oil for the rest of us, I have used it in every single bike that I have owned

It's funny. my brother in law works at a Walmart distribution center near Port St. Lucie Fla. and I mentioned Rotella T6 to him and he just started laughing. Every single day that is the item they have to put back in place every single day (multiple times). He said nothing in his warehouse goes at the rate of the T6. So there are other people out there that put this in their diets. I am going on my 3rd C-14 and have no reason to use any other oil in it than T6. If Mobil 1 4T costs the same I would probably use it.

If 'truck oil' is excellent for my Cummins Ford and JD diesels and has the correct additive package for combined motorcycle use why would I use anything else?
You go ahead and spend 3X that on motul or some other 'marketed oil'.  I'm sure you'll be fine. ('cause that's what they say in the ads)

However, if a dealership sells you a car with unlimited oil changes it's at least 5k before they'll do it.

I have unimited oil changes on my 2009 Honda CRV and they change it every 3000 miles.  But I had to convince them.

On my 2012 Mustang - the Ford dealer won't do it.
On my 2011 Rubicon Unlimited - didn't offer unlimited oil changes.

Motul 7100 10W/40 100% synthetic, at a cost of 29 dollars per liter, if you bring the bike to a dealer or repair shop, do it yourself, buying oil on the Internet spedono 14 dollars a liter, the more you are sure you did changing the oil in the engine is hot and you know what to put.

Rotella T6 Synth blend.

I expect 200,000 miles on that oil.  I would say more, but at 200K I plan to part mine out on ebay

Im at around 5k miles and am hearing a lot of variances on which oil to use?? I have heard 10-50 Repsol synthetic and a bunch others. I live in Texas and its primarily warm but I run the bike almost everyday including the winter, rain, etc.

Something clean, fresh, slippery, and JASO rated.  The rest is just hype.   ;)

Cod Liver Oil + Marvel  mystery oil of course :o
My 11 Diesels get Rotella, and I run EXTENED  change intervals
MY girl was getting M 1,
Till I found Royal Purple 20W-50 for $8.00 a qt. cleaned out their stock :)
I'll put at least 7,500 before change  , unless the shifting changes, which I doubt, have 5,000 now and smooth...
Red line is the best , but not needed for street use.
I have friends that spray Nitrous Oxide in  race motors 10,000 + rpm and they call Red Line INSURANCE. :-*
