Correct.  ABS and KTRAC (only available together) were an option.  JimmyMac has a non-ABS/KTRAC 2010.

Yep- I am almost positive this is correct.  They got tired of making them options, especially since most people wanted it and just made it standard for the 2011 model year and above.  I think it was a smart move because it greatly reduced the complexity of inventory (since those are NOT dealer installable options).

Personally I think you are wasting your time with the dealer in question. If he is trying to sell a 10 for $1,500 more than you can buy a 12 for via Costco he will NEVER come down to $11K.

Dealers can get really weird and most act like they dont even want to sell a bike. When I was shopping for mine stopped in at the local Eagle River dealer and asked the salesman to call me with his best price. About 8-9 days later (4 days after I closed the deal with another dealer in Anchorage) he finally called me up with a higher price than what I paid and acted totally shocked I bought from their competition.

Go fiqure. Someone here mentioned they can get one for 12,800. Get his dealers number and buy it.

If you want a price comparisin. i brought a slightly used 2010 ABS/traction control with the Kawi 47L Trunk for $10,800 USD in March 2012. Only 1200 miles on it. For Canada an excellent price, probably th egoing rate in the USA

I used to be an adjuster and have told more than one person who's brand new car was totalled that it was not a new car; as soon as the car was driven off the lot, it was a used car.
Apply that to the '10 C14. As soon as you drive it onto the street, it becomes a two year old used bike. In another couple of months, it will become a three year old used bike.
Now, that might not sound like a big deal, but hypothetically, if you were get in an accident a week after buying it for $13,000, wouldn't you be upset if you found you could only get $10,000 back?
Still, motorcycle leftovers can be fun (I bought a new in the crate '85 Suzuki Madura v4 1200 back in '89), just nibble at the price. You have the $ and the dealer has a dust magnet that no one wants- advantage in your court. Get some prices off of valuation sites of what a '10 C14 with 500 miles goes for and use that as your final price.
Also, don't be afraid to travel if you see a good price. I flew out to CO to get my C14, rode it home 1200 miles away. I can't think of better time or excuse to go for a long ride than now.

I'd shoot for around $10,000.
