I made it back today, drove 400 miles. The front looks bizarre- like a 1/4" wide chicken strip in the middle, sides are V shapes with most of the tread gone. Handling felt scary, riding in the sierra nevadas this afternoon was sadly no fun, I rode it as if I were on ice

, I felt that if I leaned it even slightly, I'd dump the bike off a cliff. The rear looks like it go longer, but I'll replace it. When I got this bike, I rode first 50 miles carefully, then started to play with the bike and I thought "Hey, these tires aren't so bad!". The tires felt pretty good in the mountains of CO. I proceeded to ride another 1000 miles to my home. The tires didn't feel good. I guess you can say that you get good handling of the bridgestones for about 200 miles of their initial life- blink and you'll miss it.
The tires don't even ride right, they feel lumpy, the exterior on them looks like wheel off of Fred Flinstones' car. I'll be lining up some tires asap. Oh well, we're expecting snow tomorrow night...
