My bike was totaled, dealer said Kawasaki would reimburse my extended warranty since I only had the bike for two years and never started in on the three additional years -- turns out it is only a very partial reimbursement....about 30%.
Anyone experienced this? Different results?
should be more than that, as it never went into effect.
you didn't mention bike year, and purchase date, or date plan was purchased... that's important also.
go to the Kawasaki website and read the correct documents for the reimbursment policy, iirc, and I have been on top of this because I set up the low pricing for GTTP / KPP thing, you ought to be getting much more back, as the reimbursment protocol is on a pro rated scale, when it becomes active. not from date of purchase....
hold off from dickering with your dealer, most of them are buttwipes.
do the legwork, prior to accepting any reimbursments..
also, please tell us what you paid for the extension, and who it was purchased from, this is criticle
here's the short version, I'm doing this from my nook, and can't search deeper, but based on a 2013 bike, that never had a claim, nor has the effective policy gone into active in reality, you may have better options...
https://kpp.kawasaki.com/Cancellation-Policyhttps://kpp.kawasaki.com/Terms-And-Conditionsbetter talk directly to Kaw, don't believe your dealer....
by all terms I've read, you should get full reimbursment, less the $25 fee noted, as the plan was never in effect, untill the factory warranty expires.
