The percentage is probably much higher.  The ones that missed the animals were texting hoping to find a MC and didnt see the critters :-\

I guess I find it not too surprising that some people would go out of there way to kill is spider or a snake. Many have a natural fear of both of these due to their venomous nature. But turtles??!!! WTF?
