Have been able to put over 1000 miles on the 2000 C-10 after accquiring it from PO. Had been dropped so needed a good amount of TLC and a lot of parts and paint.
My impression is as follows: WHY did I wait so long to get a Connie??? :) I just love this bike. It eats miles like the cookie monster gobbles snickerdoodles. Excellant power, great handling, smooth transmission, lots of wind/rain protection, comfortable two up seating (wife actually likes riding on this scoot). Lots of storage and plenty or aftermarket parts and great rider support with websites like this.
Still have a to-do list for some creature comforts later this winter. Only complaint so far is discomfort in the knees, not as young as I use to be. Will be dailing up Murph's real soon for the knee-saver kit.
Looks like a very fun year ahead!

That looks very nice. Did you do the Paint as well? Did you have to drop a bunch of $ on the plastics?

Paint was done by a friend of a friend in his garage, he paints school buses as his regular job. Got a reasonably good job at a fair price. Budget was at a low point after the primary rebuild work was done.
I had to buy upper main fairing (cha-ching), fairing mount bracket, rt side fairing, rt heat duct, belly pan and rt bag, all total nearly $1000.00. Lots of other pieces and then a bunch of catch-up general maintenance work.

That Plastic sure adds up. I fixed a lot of the damaged stuff on this bike I bought. Looks like your friend is a good painter, it looks real good in that photo. I like the Blue.
I've been doing all the maintenance on this 90, as well as some upgrades. They are really fun bikes, I am getting the Taller windshield next, 25" :)

Looks like you went with the '06 blue or something real close, nice choice ;)

Always like blue on a scoot. Couldn't drop the money needed for factory color so my painter found something similar he could get locally, called " Balboa Blue".
Not an A++++ job, but it's good enough for now, besides when you're going fast no one can see the flaws.

Nice work!
I like that colour too!
