....but I gotta ask the question, because I'm at a standstill, don't want to do the wrong thing and have to buy more parts...I'm replacing my right footpeg (ahem! don't ask, or rather, just go to CDA) and I'm at the point where I have the new one from Murph (awesome shipping, Murph...thanks!) and am taking the rubber out of the old one, got the Allen and got the screw out...now what?? There's a hard rubber pad around the screw pathway on the inside, and there's an aluminum round disc that makes up the top of the screw's pathway on the outside (the underside of the foot peg)...and the rubber doesn't want to come off the end of the screw's path nohow, no way...take a look at the pics, if you feel like it, and give a noob a nod in the right direction, please?

It's just stuck; pry out with a screwdriver at an angle from the bottom or try punching the T shaped steel collar out from the top.

Ah, so that thick rubber piece does come off the end, then?
Edit: Hah....got it...just needed the ok to keep going, that's all! Thanks, T!

Better to ask now than possibly having to replace a rubber grommet later! That's why we're here. That and an obsession for a certain motorcycle...
