I believe it. I don't have a problem with the raid. I know it may not be a popular opinion here, but its mine.

You are so very welcome. To clarify, overall, I don't like the raid either, but I want to keep why I don't have a problem with the raid off the board.

So, you have a vintage Gibson Les Paul model you inheritted from your father, worth many thousands of dollars, and due to a change in laws which you are not aware of, you try to take it to Canada to play at your cousin's wedding and end up in prison for that??  Great world.

Not only that, I read in another article that the government is telling Gibson to make more overseas. I tried to find where I read it but could not remember.

That is an unfortunate reality.  Fines are a cash crop.
