Title: *Kawasaki Service Manual Added* Parting out a 2001
Post by: Lone-Rider on July 31, 2011, 05:24:09 PM
Picked up a new (to me) ride so the trusty Connie is now being cannabilized.

Here is a quick list of the major parts that are available and what I think are reasonable prices (shipping not included unless noted). Feel free to make offers, I can email pics if needed.

Not all parts listed, just the major ones. If you are looking for something not listed, just ask, I probably have it!

You can pick up locally between Everett and Renton if you are in the Seattle area.

I'll take the spin-on oil filter adapter if it's still available.  How much for shipping to NC 27526?  I can pay by check thru snailmail if you like.  I'm in no hurry.

Are you parting the engine? I really need a cylinder head.

Undecided at this point, I probably will but will come down to whether I have the necessary tools and skills to do so. I imagine it will be a couple weeks minimum before I would have I apart to that point.

I'll let you know as the cannibalism progresses.

If you still have the valve cover in two weeks I will take it :o.
Seriously, all my money is tied up in gas, food, and lodging for the rally.  Keep me in mind cause I want to powder coat it and put on my 86.

I need a right front peg bracket. Do you have that or are you including that with R driver foot rest? If so I would buy that. My bike is a 2001 so I would also be interested in the blue plastic lower fairings or blue covers for where the side bags attach.

I do need the right driver side peg bracket so let me know about that. Mine is currently held together with JB weld and it worrys me.

Thanks

Side covers are already claimed, I'll send you the foot rest/bracket combination. I ran the nubs of my foot rests, if pegs are in better condition you can swap the peg itself.

$32 shipped
