The road is not a race track..... stop treating it like one.

 >:(

I swear that those 'people' do as much to harm motorcycling as loud-pipes and squids combined.

He was doing fine until he lost concentration, caught some paint, maybe a little target fixation or trying to let the bike behind him pass, but the road is a track. Just remember your track is one lane.

Did he just fall asleep or what?? His mind must not have been in the zone...

I wonder if he pulled over immediately or waited until the next stop to change his undies.   :D

Very lucky that he is still around to ride, hopefully he isn't running triple digits with lots of oncoming traffic anymore.

I'm not going to say I've never exceeded the speed limit on a twisty road. Not 100mph though, and not filming it to brag later. Glad he/she was able to keep their head and at least avoid a crash. I don't like to see this either. How many people in those cars are going to talk about the "idiot" biker and then reinforce all the myths about motorcycles we are all trying to debunk?

I shot this video to my big screen, damn near broke my Lazy Boy trying to get the Hell out of the way. Now my back hurts and I have to pee.
Thanks so much for the adreneline rush at 10:40 at night.  :yikes:
Ride safe all.

Object fixation. He was looking at the oncoming vehicles and that's why he got himself into the near-fatal-statistic category.

If you're going to go fast, pay some FREAKIN' attention!

guys that give up on the turn really **** me off. They carry this little escape plan around in there heads. If it gets too hard i'll just find a place to ditch. They are going to keep ditching and crashing till they get that thought  completly out of their numb skulls.

He wasn't doing 100 MPH, look at the speedo, he was going from 50 to 70, the 106 you saw was the time.

Target fixation?  Object fixation?  Loss of concentration?

How about he just drove way past his capabilities.

I agree! He was one lucky bastard. Lets hope the lesson was learned and he stops riding above his ability.
