Hi guys I would like to know opinions on touring screens. Just bought my concourse and get a lot of buffering on motorways.do I get a spoiler for the original screen or a full extended screen

Welcome! I would suggest a spoiler or extension. Then you can see if you like the additional height. Depending on where you are, you may prefer a spoiler so you can remove it in hot weather for better airflow. I swap over to a really short windscreen in the summer.

I went the bigger screen route. I tried a couple of the extenders and they didn't do it for me. I have 3 screens for mine, the stock 08 screen for high summer/sports mode, a California Scientific Large for the rest of the year and for longer rides, and a California Scientific XWXL when I feel the need to be behind a transparent barn door. The XWXL is really too big even for me (6'4" and fat) and it does wobble quite a bit which leads me to believe it isn't doing the screen mechanism any good.
I've had the Large for about 10 years and have done 50K+ miles with it and it works well for me. In the down position the air hits me in the upper chest and in the up position the air goes over my helmet. No turbulence in either position.

To me it would depend on which year you have. Mine is a 2009, so there was really bad back pressure at highway speeds. I installed a CalSci windshield that was not much taller than stock, about as tall as later models were stock. It completely got rid of the back pressure, and wasn't a huge barn door. The later models supposedly fixed the back pressure issue.
I also have a small MRA Vario screen with the spoiler. I like it but the CalSci offers better protection on rainy days. I am currently running the small MRA screen.

My 2011 has back pressure, but only if the windscreen is all the way down. Lift it just a tad and it all goes away. And then Gen 2 (2010+) has a redesigned dash vents and other surfaces to prevent back pressure, so it must be much worse on the Gen 1.
I switch to a cut-down screen for half the year, so I love having the "topper" bolted to it for more options when it suddenly gets colder than expected and raising the cut screen up more doesn't help as much as needed. In the winter, with the topper moved that that normal gen 2 OEM screen, I rarely ever raise the screen more than that inch to cut back pressure.
I wish someone had designed a replacement tool-less clamp system to make the windscreens easier to swap, somehow. It isn't hard, yet just complex enough to be annoying. Thankfully I only swap twice a year.

I just got a 2022 C14 with just over 5000 miles and the previous owner installed a Puig tall touring screen with visor, tinted. I'm going to get a CalSci shorty so then I want to sell the Puig. It's in great shape. Not sure when it was put on but can't have that many miles.

Thanks Virginia Jim, planning to do that when it's ready but I have to get the Calsci screen squared away first.
Just thought I would give a heads up as the thread referred to touring screens.
