I think i asked this before but anyways. I have been putting back together a bike that someone else desmogged and didnt complete. I am wondering what to do with the 3 nipples on the back of the tank.
Thanks

1 is the tank vent and must be left open. Other 2 will be capped.
Sorry, but don't recall which is which.
Someone will have the details...
Ride safe, Ted

Since the bike has been de-smogged...
Left side (looking from back of tank): Fuel return - Cap this port securely. It is an open pipe inside the tank which ends near the filler cap.
Middle: This is the drain for the tray that surrounds the filler cap. Run a hose behind the air box. See attached.
Right side: Tank vent. You can leave this open or some folks loop a line from the right side nipple to the left side nipple. The tank cap also vents through the key hole.
