Title: Ignition
Post by: flyboy3107 on June 29, 2014, 05:47:03 AM
I'm having an issue with my bike, not a big deal. After a ride when I go to shut off key bike will keep running, like the key was never turned. Dirty contacts? I was going to pull switch but couldn't figure out how it was held onto triple tree. Saw post on how to remove. May give that a shot. Any other ideas? Doesn't do it all the time, very intermittent. Thanks!

There are relays in the J-Box and if the main relay stuck on, it could cause the bike to keep running. It's on the left side near the battery. The next time it does it, give the J-Box a tap, it's easier than taking off the ignition switch.
