Title: handle bars
Post by: flightrisk66 on March 14, 2014, 04:12:59 PM
Hey gang what is involved in raising up the handlebars say 4 inches or maybe even a little more.I love this bike but the forward lean hurts my old wrists on long rides. Thanks in advance for your answers Kev.

Heli-Bars is one way or you can covert to 7/8 inch bars.  Neither way is inexpensive.

To go the 7/8 inch bar route you will need the bars of course with bar ends, and longer brake and clutch lines.  You will probably need a longer choke cable depending on how high you go.  You will also need adapters to mount the bars.

I have done two 7/8 inch conversions, here is a picture of the first using Goldwing Gl1200 bars.
