This occurred yesterday and I just have to share it.
My dear 90yr old grandmother came over with my parents to check up on me after my get-off. My grandmother is EXTREMELY prim and proper. We got to talking about politics and world affairs. I said to her what a shock it must be to have watched the USA spiral out of control. I asked her what the biggest change she had witnessed.
She said hands down it was how involved the media and govt want to be in our personal lives. I asked for an example.
She said for starters, same sex marrige. I thought oh God her it comes; fire and brimstone speech.
Nope....she said she and my departed grandfather had the same sex for over 60 yrs, she just didn't understand what the big fuss was.
Well after I cleaned up the milk that shot out of my nose all I could say was "keep talking":rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
