New shoes and 30k service
« on: July 12, 2012, 09:05:47 PM »
Ok, 34k but all valves were still within spec.
They must have synched the throttle boddies cause she's purring like a kitten.
By shoes I mean they installed new PR2s cause the PR3s are more money and on backorder.
Plus they installed my 90 degree valve stems and K&N filter.
I'm a happy camper, even if I am out $1200.

same here. Got the valves adjusted at 30k last month, and instead of shoes I've got PCV in, flies out. Same effect:

bike            :) :) :) :) :)
wallet                            :(
---------------------------------
nett effect       :) :) :) :)

You don't know if they did the throttle body sync or not?

It was on the list but we didn't talk about it. I assume it was done because she runs much better.
