I am sure both of my rims are slightly bent, I can really tell when I am at about 30-50mph, matter a fact, I can feel it at any speed through the handlebars.
How did I bent the rims you asked! I was cheap and have my technician (I work in the car business) dismount and mount new tires for me - I believed the tire machine was too strong (it was made for car rims, not motorcycle rims) and bent the rims while mounting the new tires.
What should I do besides buying new set of rims? Please help. Can't really afford rims right now. Thanks.
Yes, I have a rim shop that we work with at the car dealership, I should ask them. Thanks.
I am pretty sure its not over weighted, I double checked before I mount the tire back on the bike.
The bent is so slight, the run-out is minimal, but man, I can definitely tell when I ride.
Now is your chance to buy some nice custom rims and have a one-of-a-kind Concours.
+1... before you mount your new wheels have them powder coated black or whatever other color is to your liking...

And what if the color to his liking is silver??
Don't take a chance with your life...replace with stock rims that balance and run true...and sleep well at night.
