My Deka died after 13 months. (12 month warranty.
) Within a half hour of charging, it reads 11.5V. Not so happy with them at the moment. But the place I bought it from has offered to let me return it, and they'll test it and set it aside for the Deka rep to see if they'll honor the warranty anyway.
So, now I'm using a battery pulled out of a Harbor Freight jump starter. Works well, and the claim on the jump starter is 400A, which surpasses the 310A of the Deka. Only change to the bike is longer screws in the front of the tool tray. (Which I haven't even done yet.
) For $40 for a sealed battery, it seems like a good deal.
I had another Deka in a Honda CB750F that I was quite happy with. Guess I just got a bad one this time around.
