Indeed

The live white rat has been set free and the memory oflast night's shoot will soon be preserved on a huge photo canvas. The studio owner is a friend and helped me set up, and we spent hours last night trying to get that critter to cooperate =)

KIRBY, that rat in the pic is the luckiest RAT alive! I picked it up from a pet store for a couple of bux. It was destined to become snake food, (since it was the only pure white rat it was chosen for the shot). Afterwards, it was set free in the woods to determine its own destiny. Maybe it'll still be a feeder for a snake but it has a chance at least =)

I'm having ideas of a cute model dressed snake charmer enticing a snack to come out of PAINT next...I'm working on the thoughts....

Graham I originally planned this to be a antique black and white and played with some old style photoshop processing, I think I'm going to leave it as is. One thing I changed was the big white blob reflection from the black vinyl has been cleaned up to be black. I was on the fence about that because I wanted to remember it as part of the shoot. Iyt took me and the guy that owns the studio forever to get this one shot, the critter wouldn't cooperate =)
