No picture handy, so picture this:
1954 Ford F-100. Red with a white grill, black front bumper, no rear bumper (I beam welded across the rail ends and painted black). It had a black diamond plate bed floor with black running boards. Included was a black bench seat, red carpet and dash with black steering wheel & column. Chrome spotlight on the driver's side roof pillar. After market stock round tail lights and turn signals. It came with one (left) from the factory.
Three on the tree, aftermarket (International brand) heater since none came from the factory. Black headliner. 272 OH Valve V-8 (first of the OHV V-8's) with oil bath air filter. The only key operated door lock was the passenger side and the driver's door locked from the inside only with the handle (push down). 6 volt generator equipped electrical system with the battery under the floor on the passenger side.
White wall tires (mud tires on the rear) with cone hubcaps. Wider 15" Mercury wheels replaced the narrow 16" Ford OEM wheels.
My father gave it to me when I was 14 and told me if I could restore it, I could have it. It had 77,000 miles in 1971. I did. Two months after I turned 16, I wrecked it and started over. Re-constructed by 17 and kept it through college when I sold it to pay tuition when I was 22 in 1979. I used it to haul my '71 CB350 to college and then my '78 Honda Hawk I when I replaced the '71.
Now at 54, I'm looking around the area to see if I can find it. But I think it's gone.
Coolest (nearly) stock p/u in my small town.
I can see it in my mind as I write. The pictures are all still in my head, near where the hair used to live.
