Rotopax Adventure gas can
« on: January 04, 2012, 06:15:04 PM »
I bought a Rotopax gas can identical to this one http://www.rotopax.com/2-Gallon-Gasoline.html last summer for my trip to Alaska.  I took it with me there and back, but fortunately I never used it.  It has some road grime on it, and shows a few marks from being strapped to the bike, but otherwise it is new.

This 'can' is quite neat.  Since it is so flat, you can lay it on pillion, and stack whatever on top of it.  I talked to a guy on the road who HAD used his, and he says his didn't leak a drop.  I can't vouch, I didn't use it, but I sure love the slim profile of it.

They sell for 59.99 new, I'm asking 50, and I'll pay shipping.

Please call or email!  Oh yeah, I'm in St. Louis, that's Central time

Good luck with sale. I have one for my XL600 and its held up to extreme off road abuse without leaking a drop.

Scott, did you also get the locking/mounting device?  I may be interested.

I am sorry for being away.  I try not to be one of THOSE guys that posts something up, and never checks on it.  But I don't have any of the mounting brackets.  As of right now, I am calling the can sold.  I'll update if something changes.
