Stupidity.  Being rushed.

I didn't RTFM.

I started locking the nut down without the one inch spacer on the left side, nor did I have the left peg hanging on the left side before I started hunkering down on the nut.  By the time I realized I had screwed up, the damn nut was jammed all the wayup passed the threads on the end of the bolt...thats when the damage occured... I managed to get the nut back off then, put in the spacer, peg, and started screwing the nut back on...at which point i hit a stripped point on the nut, and the heffer just started spinning.

In a nut shell, slow the fock down, RTFM, and don't try and do a farkle 20 minutes before you need to leave for work.

I am confused, do you have the ProjektD or the GSG Moto sliders?

So i contacted GSG in Germany, and they are sending me the new bolt.  Come to find out the big nut on the opposite end is just mounted with locktite.  I asked them to send me the entire new assembly.  Total cost 38 Euro to my door.  I've got the new engine mount nut on order from Ron Ayers.
