Rivco highway pegs slipping
« on: May 17, 2011, 12:03:02 PM »
Howdy folks,
I got some used, NIB Rivco highway pegs from someone here for my tip over bars, which are the same tip over Rivco' bars that Murph sells.  I've mounted them, but as tight as I turn the bolt down, I can't get the pegs to keep from rotating forward when I rest my feet on them.
Any suggestions??

Try some tape under the clamps.

If tape does not work peen the clamp a little to take some of the angle out of it.

Line the clamp with a piece of Emery Cloth.

All excellent suggestions.  Maybe time to reread "Zen",  it's been about 20 years .
Thanks for your help.
