If I had one of those, my insurance would skyrocket due to my driving habits.
"He went how fast on that deserted backroad?"
"I can't tell, our meter only reads to 130."
That's what I'm worried about. I don't do many 'jack rabbit starts' or hard stops but I may accidently stray over the speed limit from time to time.Thats kinda what I am worried about. I would hate to go from 10% discount to "oh we are sorry, we need to raise you rates"
Just think-you have one of these and are doing 2 over the limit. Someone pulls out in front of you and a crash results. State Farm denies the claim-you were speeding.
Ya'll got that onstar thingy and the data recorder under your seat?
-%10 today, + %30 tomorow comes to mind, I do 5-10 over as routine, but keep it at that. I let traffic dictate my speed, never the slowest, never the faststest, but somewhere on the topside. Part of my survival strategy is to stay ahead of trouble...Now, if I could only install it in my wifes car? Close to free comes to mind.

They aren't known as Snake Farm for nothing...
At least my C-10 isn't sophisticated enough to have data recording...
Same with at least two of my other vehicles. Analog speedometers rule!
