« on: October 19, 2011, 10:42:00 PM »
......will fit my C14?  I need this for a photoshoot with my bike and a friend. If you have one to lend in the Tampa area I'd appreciate it.

What's next: a poll to determine if we like 2- or 3-layers toilette paper?  :o

Otherwise, do we get to keep discussing toilet paper in this thread?

It's in Open now so toilet paper, sombreros, Tequila.....  I don't care as long as the conversation is civil.  If someone does have a hat he can use then by all means.

Wouldn't a rice paddy hat be more appropriate? Or one made of hemp maybe? Why not an American
sombrero?  You're not being very inclusive here.

Post count? I asked a legit question and have got anything but an answer. But everyone wants to post everything else which is ok too, my threads are never serious and if they get that way I need to leave the internet alone.

Thanks for the replies. If no one has one I'll purchase one myself.  My post count is high enough already and I don't get paid for posts nor an increase in traffic to the forum so I'm missing the point.

I just need to borrow one of these:

gPink, I thought the sombrero is a Mexican product, like tequila?  I bet they are all made in China now so you're probably right anyway  :D

I just need to borrow one of these:

The girl or the hat?

I did a quick Google look up in Tampa but didn't come up with anything but restaurants and the like.  You might call a local eatery in Tampa and ask them where you might find one.

Thanks Jim,  I was hoping to borrow one because the ones I've seen are quite elaborate, well made, and color contrasted. If I buy one it'll be of the big straw hat variety and probably lack in color  ;D

I have a friend that works in a real Mexican restaurant. Thanks for the tip I'm going to ping her about it.

Steve was asking a legit quasi-mc question, albeit in the wrong board.  I moved the thread here as it would get more notice from the members who might be able to help him out.

Steve, once you gain access to said colorful sombrero, please post the pic.

Steve, Most Mexican restaurants keep Sombreros on hand for birthdays and such. I have some pics someplace of my son's last bday at Don Pablos wearing a Sombrero. We made a big deal of it and embarrased him as much as possible.
